Morning calm, crossing the swamp

The second of my calendar for the month of february. I worked with a very desaturated colour palette and, above all, without direct light, which is quite different from what I am used to do, but I am very pleased with the result.

"Crossing the swamp is one of the most difficult stages of this journey. I wanted to go through there in winter to avoid the mosquitoes that invade this region once the heat returns. It is a long and exhausting crossing lasting several weeks, leaving me to drift gently along to the rhythm of my thoughts during long days, confronting my fears and doubts. But along the way, I appreciate the gentle, calm, meditative mornings when the day reveals its faded colours without rushing.
Nooschka seems to particularly enjoy the boat, sometimes at the bow or curled up in her basket, waiting for the delicious fish caught at the end of the day."
